DeviceCheck

Terms of use

Last updated: August 2026

By using DeviceCheck you accept these terms. They are deliberately short.

The tools are free to use

You may use every test on this site, for personal or commercial purposes, at no cost and without an account. You may not copy the site itself and republish it as your own.

The tests are diagnostic aids, not guarantees

These tools report what your browser can observe about your hardware. That is usually accurate, but browsers, drivers, and operating systems all sit between the tool and the device, and any of them can affect a result. A passing test does not prove hardware is faultless, and a failing test does not prove hardware is broken.

Do not rely on these results alone for a purchase, a warranty claim, or a repair decision. Treat them as a first check, not as evidence.

Availability

The site is provided as is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, and tools may be changed or removed.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this site, including decisions made on the basis of a test result.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
